This program promotes access and opportunity for girls and build the skills and confidence of women and girls to achieve their potential and have more influence over decisions that affect their lives.

In this program our mentors engage with youth from disadvantaged and rural backgrounds with the objective of enabling them to overcome socioeconomic barriers, gain education, build curiosity, creativity and scientific temper, be aware of myriad educational and professional opportunities ahead, and aspire to become independent.

Locations

Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh : We are conducting this program for young girls/ladies of saree weaving community in Varanasi (UP)  in collaboration with Lok Samiti. Most of them are school drop outs and they are working in tailoring centres set up by Loksamiti NGO.
