Program Overview
In the remote villages of Garwha district, Jharkhand, opportunity often ends where the village road does. In Sirohi Khurd, young women face caste-based exclusion, early household responsibilities, and limited access to education. Most have never used a computer. Many cannot read or write. Decisions about money, mobility, and healthcare are often made for them rather than by them. Yet determination waits for opportunity.
This program aims to initially support 25 or more young women from traditionally excluded communities to gain skills, confidence, and financial independence, without leaving their village.
The goal is simple:
Enable women to earn, participate in decisions, and access essential services.
